Three leading experts on what ageing well looks like — nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, connection. Practical, evidence-based, and immediately useful. You’ll leave with two or three things you can act on this week.

Chiza has a real passion for all things skin and nutrition, recognising the real connection between gut health and skin health and she is often invited to write for magazines as well as speak nationally and overseas on various skin health-related topics.
In clinical consultation Chiza’s focus is primarily on gut health because of her strong belief that the health of the gut should be the starting point to restore health and wellness.
Chiza’s key aim in clinic is to assist in finding the best solutions for patients suffering from a number of growing health-related conditions which include (but are not restricted to) abdominal bloating and discomfort, lethargy, insomnia, skin-related conditions, stress-related disorders, anxiety, and low vitality. Menopausal health coaching is a new area of interest that Chiza has taken on and is extremely passionate about.
By incorporating an inside-out approach, in her work as both a Nutritional Medicine Practitioner and Dermal Clinician, Chiza has been able to successfully help many of her clients improve their skin, gut, mental health and menopause symptoms.
Her mission is to help as many women as she can feel their absolute best! Chiza has recently embarked on a PhD researching the role of lifestyle on the cardio-metabolic health in postmenopausal women.

Amanda holds an extensive suite of specialist qualifications spanning corrective exercise, biomechanics, barbell rehabilitation, falls prevention, mobility and strength systems, alongside diplomas in Naturopathy and Vegan & Vegetarian Nutrition. She is also academically accomplished, with a PhD (Economics) from the University of Sydney, a Master of Public Administration (UQ), and a Bachelor of Arts (UNE), bringing a rare blend of scientific discipline, strategic thinking and real-world coaching expertise to her work.
Known for prioritising technique before load, Amanda’s approach is grounded in safe, sustainable strength—especially for ageing bodies managing injuries, imbalances and limitations. She has been recognised for excellence in the industry, including a national award for Best First Year Trainer (LTYB Franchise, 2021), and she continues to lead, teach and advocate for strong ageing through her training, community work and governance roles.

Her talk on the Scandinavian concept of Döstädning (death cleaning) looks beyond decluttering the home to the deeper wellness benefits of letting go—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Dee brings warmth, wisdom, and a refreshingly real perspective to the conversation about living lighter and ageing well.

Two powerhouse women on reinvention, contribution and the courage to choose what your second 50 looks like. Honest stories, useful frameworks, and the kind of challenge that lands warmly.

An internationally credentialled leadership coach, longevity researcher and pro-ageing advocate, Jilinda works at the intersection of leadership, gender equality and generational inclusion. She brings a powerful blend of lived experience and professional expertise — combining 60+ years of life experience, 50+ years of feminist activism, 30+ years in leadership roles, and over a decade of coaching, speaking and writing.
Her work is grounded in a simple but urgent truth: we are living decades longer than previous generations; a bonus chapter. Yet many women are still following outdated life scripts that no longer fit. Jilinda challenges women to break free from default living and instead design their ‘second 50’ with clarity, courage and purposeful contribution.
She is the author of the feisty femoir book - Rock Your Stripes (2019; revised August 2024) and is currently completing her second book - IMPACTFUL – not Invisible, a bold call for women 50+ to rethink, redesign and revel in living their second half of life on their own terms.
Jilinda’s presentations are real, relatable and energising. Expect powerful insights from lived experience, practical frameworks, and a refreshing dose of straight-talking honesty — delivered with warmth, humour and just enough rebellious spark to inspire women to step forward, speak up and stride on with purpose.

She is Manager, Community Investment at Bankwest and represents the WA Steering Committee of Silver Sirens, championing confidence, equality, and purpose for women in midlife. Grounded in her lived experience as a immigrant, Lily’s work explores identity, resilience, and belonging—and what it means to keep becoming, at every stage of life

Originally from Sydney, she was part of Pipi Storm Circus, which toured nationally. She came to Adelaide by accident and cofounded Vitalstatistix Women’s Theatre Company in 1984, then cofounded Feast Adelaide Queer Arts and Cultural Festival in 1997, working as Artistic Director and Creative Producer for both, plus working on a kaleidoscope of community projects.
She has written and performed two one-woman shows and is currently writing the final one in this trilogy.
She is still doing what she did in 3rd class.

Adelaide’s own Sunitra Martinelli — jazz, soul, and three languages — closing the day in a way you’ll remember.

Women With Latitude, formed in 1998, and is a not-for-profit community women’s choir of around 25 soprano and alto voices.
Built on a strong foundation of vocal technique and harmony, our choir embraces musical challenges and enjoys exploring complex arrangements skilfully led by Choral Director Sophie Werner.
Performing mostly a cappella, and sometimes with piano accompaniment, we create rich, layered soundscapes.
Our diverse repertoire includes styles across several genres with pieces such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Hide and Seek, Bumble Bee, Sing Gently, and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
We aim to perform regularly, with highlights including supporting The Audreys, the Festival Statesmen Chorus, and Dr G Yunupingu at the Festival Theatre, as well as appearances at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
For the past decade, the choir has also performed at the post–Anzac Day March Cross of the Sacrifice service.
The choir shares a deep love of music, balancing dedication and hard work in rehearsal with a strong sense of fun and camaraderie. Proceeds from performances are proudly donated to local charities.
